WCM took a nice little drive up to the second malvern show of the year. With 5 minis attending the show, it certainly made one of our members day! AndyAutogas won, section 10, winner best customised/modified and received 2 plaques, for his customised Domino! As you can imagine he was made up with this, it goes to show all that hard work, good and bad days pays off in the end, so a big congratulations to him from all at WCM! Not a massive show to end the season, but alot of our beloved minis are now tucked up for winter, but still a nice day out.

That's right, Wcm paid a visit to West Midland Safari park last sunday 18th oct! A brisk day but lovely sunshine!

A really fun day out to see the animals, we only had one mini and one bini though as alot of them are off the road now for the winter, but still a good turn out! We will organise another trip to this safari park next year when it's a bit more warmer and hopefully get a few more minis to go along.

WCM WIN MINI WORLD ACTION DAY BEST CLUB STAND OF THE SHOW!

What a high we're all still on from this event! The stand was set, the racer girls worked their magic, the sun was shining and to win best club stand, well it topped it all off.
This for us, is our biggest and busiest show the club attends each year and we all worked hard to pull it together and it certainly worked! We had some fantastic cars on display, all varied which pulled in the crowds.
The boys had a blast out on the track with some great photo's taken by our members.
WCM will be back at this event  next year to defend our title, and as for the racer girls? Well you'll just have to wait and see whats in-store!

What a show! Set in lovely grounds this really is a nice, big show, and to see so many turn out for this is amazing. The weather could of been a little wamer but it didn't stop everyone enjoying the show. There was some eye catching minis at this event, as you can tell by the pictures below, but also some outstanding minis. This is definately one to go to if you have not been before.

A few of our members took a steady drive up to this event at it's new venue, and we weren't disappointed, even the weather held off just until we were due to make our way back.

Some really good display's of cars all pretty much going along the Italian Job theme, a cake competition, where the winner of the competition took around about 40 hours to make it! Some really stunning and clean cars to look at, just goes to show a bit of hard work in looking after your mini really pays off! And as always good old Russ Swift doing what he does best, his stunt driving! So all in all, a good show and a good day had by all.

The weather was fine again for this years MITP!

Plenty to see as usual, with a little bit more going on. As well as the drag strip to take your car down it and of course the ever amazing jet powered car  they also had stunt driving going on, which included changing a wheel whilst doing doughnuts and a man balancing a mini on his head! Seemed a busier show this year, a few more club stands, with some foreign clubs left from IMM!

After 5 fantastic days, the many members of WCM who attended the IMM have returned - and what an event this was!

Starting with a rainy Thursday evening, the first arrivals quickly set up camp and got plenty of space cordorned off for the others to secure camping together.

On Friday when the masses started to arrive, a plea for help came from the organisers as a 2 mile queue was forming to get into the site, so we helped out getting people onsite and registered - it was a bit chaotic, but the club spirit made things easier for everyone involved!

Friday night saw a party starting at 'Club West Country', as the masses started to let their hair down!

Saturday was show day 1, and after the main days activities, a rather large party was starting in the main arena - the place was heaving with 3000+ people, and we were certainly showing some people on the dance floor how its done!

For those that missed Sunday night, this was a slightly smaller scale event - including a large line of WCM members doing the 'Riverdance' in front of the stage - its possible this could become a feature at other events soon!

Thanks go out to Sue for organising on behalf of the club, Gaz for being 'Mr IMM' and introducing us to many interesting people, and finally to all that attended - this was a massive showing for the club, and certainly got our visibility as a club raised to a new level!

Yes, its finally happened - WCM have been on a club outing without any rain!

On Sunday 2nd August, the club had a little jaunt up to Minchinhampton Common for a relaxing weekend Picnic and some fun.

A nice drive up, nice location and good company (those cows are very friendly!) made for an excellent afternoon.

More photos in the Gallery and the forums.
